NFA’s forskning i psykosocialt arbejdsmiljø

NFA ønsker med forskningsprogrammet om psykosocialt arbejdsmiljø at skabe viden, som bidrager til sunde og sikre arbejdspladser, hvor medarbejderne undgår psykiske og psyko-fysiologiske betingede lidelser samt bibeholder en høj arbejdsevne. Der forskes både i risikofaktorer og deres konsekvenser for helbred og trivsel samt i positive faktorer, der kan fremme et godt psykosocialt arbejdsmiljø.

NFA prioriterer forskningen i psykosocialt arbejdsmiljø indenfor 3 temaer

Det psykosociale arbejdsmiljø og helbred

I forskningen om psykosocialt arbejdsmiljø og helbred undersøges faktorer, som kan påvirke arbejdstageres fysiske og mentale helbred og trivsel. NFA vil især fokusere på at udnytte de meget store datamængder, som NFA har adgang til gennem et etableret samarbejde med andre internationale forskningsinstitutioner. Dette globale samarbejde giver mulighed for at kunne gennemføre studier af meget høj kvalitet om sammenhænge mellem arbejde og helbred.

Organisation og sociale relationer

Forskningen i organisation og sociale relationer er prioriteret, fordi dynamikker i relationer og organisation er afgørende i forhold til at skabe og bevare et godt psykosocialt arbejdsmiljø. Der fokuseres på de sociale og organisatoriske forhold, herunder hvordan man gennem gode relationer kan øge omfanget af positive arbejdsmiljøfaktorer på arbejdspladsen og hvordan man kan gennemføre forandringer på en måde, der ikke påvirker medarbejdernes helbred, trivsel og engagement negativt.

Arbejdsfastholdelse

I forskningen i arbejdsfastholdelse undersøges arbejdsfastholdelse for særlige grupper på arbejdsmarkedet, herunder hvilke faktorer, der understøtter, at medarbejdere dels fastholdes dels vender tilbage til arbejde efter fravær og dels inkluderes på arbejdsmarkedet. Ligeledes afdækkes, hvilke faktorer, der har betydning for, at nogle forlader arbejdsmarkedet ufrivilligt eller tidligt. På tværs af de ovennævnte fagtemaer arbejdes der på området med kvalitative og kvantitative metoder samt teoriudvikling både internt i NFA, men også i samarbejde med andre parter både fra andre forskningsmiljøer nationalt og internationalt, fra arbejdsmarkedsprofessionelle og fra arbejdspladserne.
