Goldilocks Work Key Intervention Attributes - Checklist
The mail focus on a Goldilocks Work intervention is on redesign of productive work with the explicit aim to promote health and capacity, whilst maintaining or even enhancing productivity. Read and use the whole checklist below.
The main focus of the intervention is on redesign of productive work:
- with the explicit aim to promote health and capacity,
- whilst maintaining or even enhancing productivity.
Intervention is focused on:
- the organisation (embedded in work), not the individual (motivation and knowledge).
Work is redesigned by either:
- changing how tasks are performed,
- changing time pattern of tasks,
- introducing new tasks.
Specific health or capacity goals are set for the intervention:
- adapted to current constraints and potential of work,
- adapted to current constraints and potential of workers.
The intervention and (process and effect) evaluation are founded on:
- a clear program logic, with a clear mechanistic pathway from redesign of work: behaviour changes – physiological responses – capacity improvement – health-related outcomes.
Intervention is developed and implemented using:
- a participatory approach (with close collaboration with the organisation and the employees).
Consideration is given to:
- physical demands at work, however considering the whole life/24hour exposures of workers.
Work redesign changes are focussed on being:
- feasible,
- potentially sustainable,
- scalable.
